Bookmarks	Booksmarks in Sophora work in the same way bookmarks in a web-browser. That is to save documents in favour or to short-list them.
Component Details	This window shows the component's content that can be replaced within the context of the document the component is a part of.
Component Groups	Components are organised into component groups (Boxes, Teaser lists, etc.)
Components	A document's components are other documents that include use of the said document.
Document Type	Document types include articles, audio files, video files or images. The document types define the document structure of a concrete document. Sophora can be configured for any document type.
History	The history search function displays all the documents the user has worked on, sorted in chronological order.
ID	An ID is a clear, explicit name of a document. For example "london100".
ID stem	An ID stem is a word that denotes a topic or theme, for example "london". ID stems must be input in letters from the English alphabet (only characters from a to z in upper or lower case) or numbers (not at end of id stem) or the underscore or the minus sign. Additionally the Id stem must not begin with "index-" or "index_". Special accent marks and characters are not allowed, including "ß", symbols (i.e. "%&$§µ^") and brackets (i.e. "{]}})".
Image Variants	An image can have more than one variant, usually automatically created from an original. All image variants can be configured.
Location	Each document is connected to a specific and unique structure node. This is the document's location.
Material Group	This is a component group that in a majority of documents is available. Here one can store useful documents that will not be published.
Modifier	Modifies the search result. They function as a filter.
Overwrite	When any of the component details of a component are overwritten or modified, the original remains untouched.
Proposal Sections	Proposals can be organised in sections. Users can subscribe proposal sections.
Proposals	Proposals are a generic form of organising editorial workflows: those who produce content can offer it to section editors for whom the content may be of interest. Proposal sections can be created to represent departments, themes or roles.
Publishing Channels	Publishing channels are the channels where the contents will be published. Publishing channels may include TV, Mobile, XML-Export, WAP or search engines. Which documents are published on which channels is governable in Sophora. Sophora can be configured for any publishing channels.
Section Documents	A section document is hooked to a structure node. It compromises configuration elements for the entire section (all documents and nodes attached to this structure node).
Structure	The structure represents the structure of the website. The top-level nodes represent websites. Each document must be connected to one specific structure node. The structure can be used to create the navigation of the site and it defines parts of the websites URLs.
Structure Node	A structure node is a named part of the structure. The name of the node must be written in lower-case letters, using only characters of the English alphabet. Special accent marks and characters are not allowed, including "ß", numbers, symbols (i.e. "%&$§µ^") and brackets (i.e. "{]})".
