In the Code Editor input field you can choose between three different code languages - Plain text, Groovy and XML. The field features for Groovy and XML a live syntax checker, syntax highlighting, code folding as well as automatic code indentation. Therefore, it suits perfectly for writing DeskClient scripts or displaying metadata. Default language is plain text.
Note: The Groovy Code Editor may not be able to resolve all classes (or import statements) during validation in the document editor. The affected lines of code will be annotated in this case with a warning to indicate possible problems.
