Roles and users can be exported from the Sophora DeskClient. To export them as Sophora-XML, select the users or roles you want to export in the Administration view and select Export... in the context menu. You can export a single role or user, but also multiple at once.
The password of a user will be exported in the form of a hash code. To prevent this, you can add the property
sophora:password to the "Properties that should not be exported" in the extended settings on the second page of the export wizard.Importing roles and users can be done by the Sophora Importer or by using the Import... entry in the context menu of roles or users. Detailed information about the importing procedure as well as the Sophora XML specifications can be found in the Importer's documentation.
