With the Linkchecker, “dead” links are a thing of the past.
The Linkchecker verifies the availability of external websites. If a non-functional link is found in a link document in Sophora, the Linkchecker takes the corresponding link document offline. This ensures that no one ends up on 404 error pages.
Once the linked website is available again, the Linkchecker resets the link document to the "Edited" state. Now, the editorial team can republish the link document.
The Linkchecker creates entries for unreachable links in a Sophora Proposal section (offers), allowing the editorial team to keep track of them.
