Live Ticker at MDR - Be Always Up to Date With Sophora CMS

Real-time-reporting: Sophora's live ticker ensures fast publishing and editing of ticker news at MDR.

As a local news channel for the federal states of Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony and Thuringia, the MDR reports at mdr.de live about current events from the region.

Especially on sport events, elections and demonstrations, live ticker go into action. When on the 5th of July in 2015 the new Mayor of Dresden was about to be elected, Sophora‘s live ticker was used by the editorial department of MDR and led to a fast publication of first results and census.

Ticker news can be created quickly and easily with the help of Sophora.

The Drag & Drop function makes the inclusion of additional content possible.

This way the MDR takes the opportunity to integrate image documents, links and Tweets into the live ticker.
