Liveblogs in Sophora Web

Learn how to create and manage liveblogs with the Sophora module Liveblogs in Sophora Web

With Sophora Liveblogs, editors can work together to create and publish liveblogs.

Terminology

We use the following terms in this guide:

  • (Sophora) Liveblogs: This Sophora module.
  • Liveblog: A list of liveblog entries sorted chronologically.
  • Entry: A single time-stamped topic in a liveblog, containing the multimedia content.
  • Top entry: A highlighted entry, typically used to generate navigation for the liveblog.
  • Pin: A pinned entry, typically displayed at the top of the liveblog.

Overview

When you open a liveblog document, it opens in read-only mode and the editor shows a special tab Entries with the liveblog entries.

Groups exists for Pinned Entries, Top Entries and (All) Entries. Liveblog entries in each group sort by editorial date, with the newest at the top.

To handle large amounts of entries, pagination is used. To navigate between entries, use the navigation under the list of entries.
